Warning Traffic Signs

What is your opinion on the implementation of traffic spikes to prevent accidents in the wrong way on the roads?

I'm using this theme for a class project and want to know if he would support traffic spikes on the toll highway entrance and exit ramps to prevent accidents wrong / Fatal and if you feel like this is a realistic solution?
