Warning Signs Of Eating Disorders

As parents, you should know about the growing number of adolescent eating disorders today. Teenagers fall into the age group that is very vulnerable to the lure of good. However, when they start to obsess about body shape, which are at risk of developing an eating disorder. Teen disorders Food can be very dangerous, simply because the bodies of their teenage children are still growing and the impact of an eating disorder can have huge consequences on its proper development.

There are several reasons why adolescent eating disorders are becoming so common today. Influences of the media media are partly responsible. 1. Bulimia refers to a situation where patients go through periods with excessive eating followed by purging to remove food from their bodies due to the guilt of having to eat too. The purge may involve many methods, such as vomiting, enemas, laxatives, fasting, purging etc. are performed when the patient does not want your body to absorb nutrients and weight. This disorder food can cause many different symptoms, including visits to the bathroom after meals, the use of drugs for weight control, withdrawal from friends and family awareness high on the body and weight, among others.

2. Anorexia nervosa refers to an excessive obsession with diet and exercise to cause extreme weight loss. Aneroxic Patients usually prefer to hide their weight loss, so that parents of patients fail to detect. Some of the symptoms common are skipping meals, finding excuses to eat alone, the refusal to remain at or near normal body weight for age and size of the patient, excessive exercise, the use of loose clothes to hide weight loss, etc.

Teen eating disorders can be fatal, if it does not seek treatment. Unfortunately, Most adolescents would rather not tell their parents or someone older about their obsessive and strange eating habits and behavior. It is to your benefit find out what warning signs to look for, so you can take appropriate measures to address adolescent eating disorders.
