Vinyl Lettering Signage

When choosing a substrate for your sign there are many options available. You can choose from plastic, wood, acrylic, aluminum, corrugated plastic (Corroplast), board Foam and more. Two of the most popular choices for sign substrates are definitely Aluminum and Corrugated Plastic. These are the two I'd like to compare and discuss in this article.

There is a big difference between signs and plastic signs corrugated aluminum. For starters it is made of plastic in the other is made of aluminum. One is not necessarily better than the other. They just have different areas that are designed for use in Take a look over close.

First let's talk about the rigidity of the two signs. A sign of aluminum is more rigid than a corrugated plastic sign. So we have this in choosing between the two. I never install a corrugated plastic sign in a sign stand on a windy day or ride to a post. This could buckle and blow long before Aluminum sign that in the same stand, under the same climatic conditions.

Now let's look at the price of each sign material. An aluminum sign normally cost more than a corrugated plastic sign. A corrugated plastic sign will also be less expensive to transport. Clearly a sign intended wavy being a sign of an alternative budget. When you need a sign that will last outdoors, I would say that signs are the choice wavy cheaply available. These savings also happens when you are considering signing or mounting hardware. Seats to acquire for lightweight corrugated plastic are generally much more affordable than the stands that is purchased by a heavier aluminum sign.

If you are looking for a long term solution would have to say aluminum would to win the battle for longevity. Not necessarily because of the image out of the discoloration or rather because the overall structure of the material. A sign is corrugated likely that sometimes the buckle and the wind. A sign mounted on an aluminum support quality may cost a bit more, however, will last much more than a corrugated plastic sign.

Ease of installation is a big problem in signing either aluminum or corrugated plastic sign. However, corrugated plastic sign is definitely much easier to handle and install. Now would also be a good time to mention that a corrugated plastic sign is less likely to get damaged or scratched during transport. This product is much lighter and more flexible, therefore, is far more lenient than rubbing against other objects. With the exception of being crushed or bent half. All our signs are very well packaged with corner protectors when necessary and air cushions to prevent this from happening.

I would definitely prefer to use corrugated plastic sign for mounting a ceiling on the inside. It is lighter and safer than using an aluminum sign. However, if the wind is present the sign Aluminum would be a little more stable. Aluminum also tends to have superior quality and look more professional.

As you can see both of these substrates sign is a reasonable option to consider for your sign project. For projects small signal would have to say corrugated aluminum signs are two of the substrates most popular options.
