Yesterday I was in Siena (Tuscany) with my girlfriend, enjoying the wonderful scenery of the Tuscan hills and the magnificent architecture of this incredible medieval city where Suddenly I saw a wonderful cross the pharmacy! That happens quite often to see one of these LED products installed around Italy, but yesterday was especially happy as I loved the city and I liked the idea of having one of these high-tech Italian products installed there.

When I approached the cross LED however, my happiness was replaced by a little disappointment and frustration ... LED cross was not bright enough? Was not installed correctly? It was in a bad place? No, at all. The team itself and the installation were perfect. What created my frustration was the fact that the owner of the pharmacy was using the signaling variable (belonging to the cross, LED) to transmit basic information 3: time, date and temperature.

Time, date and temperature?! That's it?! Hallooo?! This type of product that can store up to 99 messages pre-edited and one could almost write an entire book in every single message! Why on earth You should not use this potential is amazing?! With 99 pre-edited message can edit the message you send today for the Christmas or Easter, or summer and then simply make visible when it takes!

Why did not the owner was advertising for anti-allergic drugs so popular right now, at the beginning of spring? Why what he / she was not the promotion rates and discounts offered in the pharmacy? How does he / she was not advertising the fact that the pharmacy is in a free zone? And above all, why he / she does not show all this information in Italian, English, German, Spanish and all other languages Using the hand-lettered sign hanging on your door?!? Maybe they did not want to inform other clients who were 100 meters away?!

Ahhh! It drives me crazy! Some people still think that the advantage of LED junctions (and variable message signs, in general) that are brighter and consume less power then neon signs ... Wake up people, this is one of the advantages! Just one. And even the most important, probably!

The biggest advantage of variable message signs is a sign that the "variable message"! You can change text, change colors, enhance or decrease the speed, enlarge the characters height, make it scroll vertically or horizontally, left or right, select among dozens of sets of sources ... and more! Why not take advantage of such flexible communication and advertising tool?!

LED junctions (and LED screens in general) are tools flexible communications that allow anyone to transmit up to date general information, the latest promotions, new services and all we believe that can be remotely interesting to potential clients. Especially for small businesses, where the purchase instinct represent a considerable portion of the entire company, LED signs LED junctions and are an incredible marketing and communication tool that could seriously increase business revenue if used correctly!

The little I lived in Siena frustration stems from the fact that I wish I were better able to communicate the incredible possibilities to any of our customers, so they could take advantage of them to benefit their business. I know I'ma little monster when it comes to marketing, but that's my job. I understand that an owner of the pharmacy not have much time to create messages in the cross LED ... but I am not asking to use the LED sign at 100% of its potential. Only 10% of its potential would be very well!

So please dear pharmacist of Siena, thinking that the real treasure is in your hands the next time the program of his Cross LED.
