The sources of the signs should be easy to read. In other words, you have to use fonts that can be read rather than develop or decorative fountains. They should have an inch thick minimum3/32 touch.

As the owner of an establishment, these rules can be overwhelming and may feel that their creativity is limited by the imposition of standards of many. But after those rules need not be counterproductive. You can still have style and attract the attention of the signs but with the minimum requirements of ADA. Remember, these rules have been imposed to address a specific audience and while who are a minority, are still considered clients.

There are many signs that companies now offer a wide range of signaling that are creative and meet ADA requirements. These companies have found new way to spice up their customers without breaking any ADA signage-imposed rules. The trick is to really understand how much leeway you have when it comes to condescend to its signage. And for that, a working knowledge base of the ADA standards is important.
